Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets won their first championship together last season.
They have done so well this year that it’s very possible they could win a second title in a matter of months.
As reported by Michael Scotto via NBACentral, Murray thinks his partnership with Jokic is better than just about any other duo in the league.
Murray said:
“I think we’re the best duo. I think they’re in a bigger market and people have more interest in LeBron and AD in LA, or what Dame and Giannis could be, or what Luka and Kyrie could do ..read more

Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is sometimes impossible to slow down, and Anthony Edwards and his Minnesota Timberwolves learned that the hard way on Wednesday night.
“I don’t know, I don’t have to guard him…it looks hard,” Edwards said, via “Ball Don’t Lie.”
To really stress that point, Edwards then said: “Mother——‘s unstoppable.”

“I think the whole MVP conversation is getting out of control… I think I’m playing good basketball…I think a couple guys deserve to have the award,” Jokic said, per Harrison Wind via Legion Hoops.

But even though the Timberwolves lost, they still earned “the attention and respect” of the defending champions.

The Denver Nuggets got a huge win on Wednesday night.
By taking down the Minnesota Timberwolves, they’re now almost a lock to run away with the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference again.
That’s remarkable if you consider the fact that the Nuggets weren’t that close to the No. 1 seed in the first half of the season and how well the Timberwolves have played this year.
Nonetheless, despite their solid play, Craig Carton believes there’s only one other team that could take the Nuggets down in the Western Conference, and that’s the Oklahoma City Thun ..read more

Last season, the Denver Nuggets wiped the floor with the competition in the Western Conference as Nikola Jokic and company easily paved their way to the NBA Finals to take on the Miami Heat.
Even though the Heat were proving to be one of the best underdog stories in league history, Jimmy Butler and company couldn’t keep up with the Nuggets, who were destined to win their first NBA title in franchise history.
Ultimately, the Nuggets beat the Heat in five games, resulting in Jokic lifting the Larry O’Brien Trophy for the first time in his career, with man ..read more

Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets has a very good chance of winning this season’s MVP.
In fact, most analysts agree that the prize is his to lose, meaning he will be a three-time Most Valuable Player.
But some people aren’t happy with that possibility, including former player Gilbert Arenas.
Speaking with Shannon Sharpe on Night Cap, Arenas had a bold claim about Jokic.
“He is the worst MVP winner in the last 40 years,” Arenas said.
