Coming into Monday’s game against the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics were thought to have the edge over Jimmy Butler and company in Game 7 due to winning three straight games and playing at TD Garden.
Unfortunately, an early ankle sprain by Jayson Tatum and an awful performance by Jaylen Brown resulted in the Celtics losing on their home floor and being embarrassed by the Heat.
With the 2022-23 NBA season officially ending for Boston, there will be a lot of questions about Brown’s future with the team and whether the Celtics could decide to trade him ..read more

The Boston Celtics are on the verge of making history.
Teams facing a 0-3 deficit in an NBA playoff series were 149-0 before this season, and they have a legit shot at making that 149-1.
Joe Mazzulla’s team had its back against the wall after the first three games of the series, but they’ll now head back home for a must-win game to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals.
And according to Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young, the Heat stand no chance after what went down in the past three games.

The Atlanta Hawks put in a huge effort and gave their all in their first-round loss to the Boston Celtics.
They were pretty close to forcing Game 7, and the sole fact that they beat the Miami Heat to clinch that No. 7 seed spoke volumes to their improvement.
Clearly, head coach Quin Snyder was the right guy to take the reins of the team after a couple of tumultuous seasons, and it seems like he’s earned the respect of franchise player Trae Young.

The Miami Heat gave the NBA one of its biggest upsets in playoff history on Wednesday night, eliminating the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round despite being the eighth seed in the East.
Not only was this feat exciting for fans of the Heat, but it was also inspiring for other players in the league.
De’Andre Hunter of the Atlanta Hawks, who is currently battling against the second-seed Boston Celtics, thinks his team could follow in Miami’s footsteps.

For years, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young has had to deal with criticism and doubts.
From his days in high school to when he dominated with the Oklahoma Sooners, rival hecklers often called him overrated.
That’s why there’s not much rival fans can do to get him out of the zone nowadays, as he’s been more than used to those chants throughout the course of his career.

Someone working at State Farm Arena made a huge mistake and it almost messed with the plans of the Atlanta Hawks.
On Tuesday night, the Hawks beat the Boston Celtics and were able to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Their victory meant Game 6 would be held on Thursday in Atlanta – but there was a slight hiccup.
Janet Jackson had a concert scheduled at State Farm Arena on the very same night.
Eventually, the arena chose to bump Jackson’s concert to Friday, meaning the Hawks will still play the Celtics at home on Thursday.

The Atlanta Hawks won’t have Dejounte Murray on the floor when they try to keep their season alive tonight.
Murray was suspended after bumping his shoulder into a referee after their Game 4 loss to the Boston Celtics.
His team is now a 14-point underdog ahead of their matchup in the TD Garden, and Murray doesn’t seem to have any regrets about that incident.
When asked about it, Murray claimed that the referees shouldn’t be one-sided, citing that he doesn’t think he should’ve been suspended and that whatever happens, happens.

One first-round playoff series that many believed would be over at this point in time is the Boston Celtics taking on the Atlanta Hawks.
Many believe that the Celtics are the team to beat in the NBA playoffs right now, with Jayson Tatum and company being arguably the best all-around team and destined to reach the NBA Finals for a second straight year.
Unfortunately for Boston, the Hawks have proven more resilient than expected, with new head coach Quin Snyder calling the shots, as Atlanta has won one of the three games played thus far.

The Atlanta Hawks officially have their backs against the wall.
They fell to a 3-1 deficit in their playoff series vs. the Boston Celtics, and they could be in for a must-win game without one of their best players.
The jury is out on whether the NBA should suspend Dejounte Murray for bumping a referee after the game.

The Boston Celtics are currently battling against the Atlanta Hawks in the opening round of the NBA playoffs.
So far, they have a 2-0 lead in the series with Game 3 set for Friday night in Atlanta.
It’ll be a big game for the team and a heralded homecoming for Celtics star Malcolm Brogdon.
Brogdon, who was born and raised in Atlanta and will always consider it home, made an interesting comment about the Hawks fanbase.
