Is there an official site where I can find the autumn foliage forecast at? I found two sites (klook and kkday) with rather different forecasts and I'm uncertain which forecast is more 'accurate'.

Hi all! It’s been a long time since I’ve visited. I’m looking for some recommendations for a salon that does digital perms on short hair? I used to go to Hair Culture a long time ago, but the stylist I used to see moved. If possible, it’d be preferably in or around Da’an district but willing to travel further. Thanks in advance!

Hey all!
I’m going to be asking my Taiwanese girlfriend (3.5 years) to marry me. I want to ask for her father and mother’s blessing, but I do not speak mandarin and they don’t speak English. My plan is to have a proper prewritten message in mandarin and send it to them while we are on a video call. I could use ChatGPT or google translate but I’m worried it’ll hit the ear wrong, I.e “I will always protect your daughter” could come out as “I will continuously shield your offspring”.
The message:
I am going to ask “……….” To marry me and I wanted to ask for your blessing before I propose to her ..read more

Every single time I buy brown rice, within 2-3 weeks there’s weevils in the container. I’m using a sealed IKEA storage bin for rice, so I doubt they’re coming from elsewhere in my apartment. Just now dumped another bin because of a funky smell developed in the rice, almost certainly because of the weevils
Now I have some Google results saying freezing kills weevil eggs, and some saying nothing kills them
Any ideas?
I’m just getting the plain local-grown brown rice from PX Mart, should I be trying imported? Different storage method?

Last year a student died because he was speeding on campus. To prevent further students speeding dangerously fast the campus staff has placed several fake speed cameras across the campus.

So I just got an electric oven with a 2 prong plug and it came with a separate ground wire. One end bolts onto the back of the oven but I can't for the life of me figure out where the other end goes.

oday I was very sad to find my favourite glass broken. I brought it back from a great trip to Taiwan 15 years ago and I loved it very much. I used it almost every day. Glass breaks, it's a fact of life.
Of course these glasses can't be found in Europe. Who needs a Taiwan beer glass here. Nobody except me. So if you live in Taiwan and would be willing to get one of those glasses and send it to me I'd be very glad. Of course I'll pay for the expense.

Can smell the foul stench for several kilometers. This is in Taiwan, and internal documents recently leaked stating that they only release their toxic fumes at night because they think less people will notice.

I am participating in a project with an elementary school in Taichung. Basically I have to present the Italian culture and entertain the kids; sort of becoming their friend!
As an Italian living in Taipei, I had no interest in looking for products from my home country.
Now I want to send the kids some italian snacks or sweets, where and what can I buy? ?
I have seen Nutella at the PX Mart but I am aiming something fit for deliveries.
