I have been studying near death experiences for over 30 years. I had the experience during an heart attack when I was 49. It is estimated over 10 million people have had the experience in the U.S. I recently came across an experience that is more detailed than usual and would like to share it with others. I believe we humans need to learned about this subject if we can. I hope this is posted in the right place. This is for informational purposes and discussion if desired.... A fascinating video on the secrets of DNA. "Very few people know that in the universe there exists unlimited high density/frequency energy, and our human body has the ability to resonate with these energies, it is just not well understood by modern science. In this video we will introduce several very astonishing experiments to explain the problem, and we are going to talk about the virus from a totally different perspective and a little-known way to eliminate it.":... What of the feedback loop. I'm not of the opinion that personal identity is an illusion, but an ineffable mystery. And here's my novel idea: There is a disjunction, and perhaps a feedback loop (though completely invisible and indivisible) created by the fact that thought makes us feel we are in the mind, while the whole of us, our bodies. are outside of the mind, and literally in the universe. We could never grasp this within, for even to dissect the brain is to explore outside of it.... More on consciousness ..read more

Determinism vs Free Will

I was discussing this with a friend the other day. His point was that the brain is governed by physical laws which determine sequences of physical events in the brain. Mental thoughts ride in tandem with such neural activity but it is the physics which does the work, therefore we are effectively automatons lacking Free Will. I know that sounds pretty bad, but we are saved by being extremely complex systems, and as such we behave in a way that we can say we are individuals with distinct... View attachment 244552 We are after all subjective beings reliant upon our senses. We build up a world view based upon our perceptions, and that seems solid and objective. But who is to know if that is all there is? Perhaps our world view is too limited, and we are too sure of it. We should allow for the possibility of other types of existence, or at least admit that we do not know everything, and perhaps cannot know everything ..read more

arguable the most common and certainly most original manner of Selfrealisation got in the course of mans histories discriminated as outcrop of ego, defamed as antisocial and reprimanded as immoral, whereas Self suffered denials and Will became synonymous with wishes and desires. There have been plenty of attempts, famously by Buddha and Lao-tse, to reconnect man to his so called true Nature/Self/Will/Atman, and were doubtless easier in “old times”, than in the current...
