I made a post on r/Aquariums with more info, but didn’t get an answer. Some illness is killing my fish (2 guppies and 1 molly so far). Interestingly, my neon tetras haven’t been affected. My last 2 guppies are definitely on their way out because they stopped eating. No response to medications (Tetra Lifeguard, API General Cure, salt).

Hey so I've got 2 swordtails and one has a black spot by its mouth and the other has developed grey scales around its mouth and right side. Any ideas what it could be? We don't know how old they are. Parameters are 7.2 pH, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 40 nitrate

First time fish owner
I bought 3 male endlers from my LFS and we didn’t realize 2 more small ones got in the bag ( wasn’t charged for them). My currant tank is only 3 gal but I have a 20 gal that’s almost finished cycling, so I wasn’t too worried about space. My worry is that 1 or both might be females. I have attached pics of both. They aren’t the greatest quality but I think they show the fin shape. If they are female what do I do? I’m not necessarily against fry but I’m also worried about the male to female ratio. 3 males to 2 females or 4 males to 1 female probably would not be health ..read more

I have already had 1 other fish pass in this way. Checked my water levels and everything is clear, these are new fish in a new tank, let the tank cycle for about 5 days. The fish sinks down to the bottom then swims back up and stays up at the top. Can someone please help.

Her mouth has been like this for a good 12 hours now, so I began to worry. She is also more lethargic than the others and has her fins clipped a bit. She is slow to react to food but still can eat.
She don’t think its gasping for air, as her gills are moving okay.
I got her about a week ago along with another girl, a male molly and 2 corys. The rest of the tank is already established, and running for about 6 months now.
The tank parameters are fine amm 0 nirt 0 and the others have adapted well. Though the water is on the cooler side at 22 cels.
I’m not sure what the issue might be, and if ..read more

Hi! Newbie here.
My guppy got clamp fin after giving birth. I gave her meth blue yesterday. And now, im not sure if i should feed her today as reading some articles confused me. ?
Also should i keep on giving her meth blue for 3 days? Or just wait to see if there's improvement?
Thanks in advance!
