I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place or has been answered before. I moved into a property late last year, there is a garden pond which was frozen over, so I did the pan method and left it alone. we have what I expect you'd call a wildlife pond - dimensions 14 ft long x 8ft wide x 3ft deep (on average). There's no drainage or any way for the water to circulate/refresh It's not possible to connect electric pumps.aerators and so on to it After my Blagdon Liberty solar-powered pump failed, I suspect it's too big for solar pumps to make much of a difference What would your advice be on treatment to keep the water clean and clear? Hello. I had Dichondria come up naturally around my ponds edge and it looked cute bewtween the rocks so I left it, hoping it would fill in the whole dirt area around the pond. Now, over a year later it has gotten a little taller and I'm not liking it as much. Plus, it's penitrated the pond foam and is now in the water and creeping into the surronding flower bed.
