Salvation is Not so Easy Says the Rich Young Ruller

Salvation is not so easy when looked at it in Gods terms, for it will coat you everything that you are and given over to Him to be replaced with Him being your own disposition of mind, Spirit, to be perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect. In that God saves man from self and endues man with His same spirit of mind, and in effect says -- now go and work it out as Jesus did with the same signs following. Jesus had to give up everything he possessed as rabbi in the jewish belief... Read more ..read more

The Sense of the Heroic.

The sense of the heroic was manifest in Jesus life which was his duty manifested in him by God Himself gave it him. And the sense of our duty is only realized by our own sense of the heroic. Same signs shall follow those who believe. Mark 16:17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick... Recently I had conversation with a poster who was quite upset of comments that God is Love, and I made the mention that I love that person, for my God is Love. The poster, Claiming to be Christian, told of what an educated person he or she is, and the reply was that when love was mentioned that it makes them sick to their stomach. I dont know about y'all but something in that statement doesnt add up to me in Christendom. Obvuousley the Love that God is is a deep offense to educated minds... Read more ..read more

We read in Matthew 5: 11 “Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Click to expand... How many Christians rejoice and are glad when they feel mocked and persecuted and endure evil on account of Jesus? I've yet to see one Christian enjoy taking it on the chin for Christ. The reaction is almost... Read more ..read more

After Jesus Had Been Made to Be Perfect?

Heb. 5:8 Although he was a son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. And here is the interesting part that religious mind overlook or reject is, -- 9 And after he had been made perfect, he became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those obeying him, 10 because he has been designated by God a high priest in the manner of Melchizedek. After he became perfect, did that not happen in Matt 3:16? Some will say that he was perfect from birth. If that is so then... Read more ..read more

In the days of the Lord on earth, why did Judas, have to actually point out who He was at the age of around 33 ( so it is said ? ). He cured the dreaded leprosy, cured many illnesses and even raised the dead, and yet, no one knew who He was ? Am I missing something obvious ..read more

Have You Been Regenerated?

If God is to regenerate you as He did in Jesus in Matt 3:16 and open up a knowledge that is unfamiliar to you as He did in Jesus and others we read of by His same Spirit of mind, then what is the problem He is up against? We have a heredity that comes naturally from the flesh man mentality, carnality, that we had no say so as in -- I am not holy and never likely to be. If all that God can do do is tell you that you must be holy, as He is clear in the Bible that we must be, then His... Read more ..read more

Heredity of Sin
CARM Forums » Apologetics

How many here say they are sinners. Most I have encountered in this forum say they are and say I am. Sin is hereditary and every person in born with it, no exceptions. God does not hold us responsible for that heredity of sin. Condemnation is not that I am born with sin but realize that God takes away sin and you refuse to let Him from the moment you begin to get the seal of damnation, and this is the judgment in that critical moment the light is come and you love darkness more than...
