The crystal had a crack in it and, being a very sentimental piece, I never wanted to bring it in anywhere for repair. So, my friend brought me some watches to photograph and Pilot really stood out from the rest. Reference 01-0011-382 What is interesting - the bracelet is not signed. It looks authentic, at least it fits nicely to this watch, but the surface is a bit rough, not very smooth. Then again, I have no previous experience with mint bracelets from this era. My Zenith caliber 71, circa 1958, in 18 K rose gold (37mm) was serviced this past fall by Kelly Hunter of Art of the Watch. Kelly was great to work with. The caliber 71 is keeping excellent time, and the watch looks amazing to me. The pictures below don’t really capture the watch’s true beauty.
