Greenville, South Carolina's downtown area is built around a gorgeous waterfall. The park has walkways on both sides of the river and pedestrian bridges that cross it. It's a really beautiful area. Photography of the park is best when the sky is fully cloudy. As I write this, the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin are in their second day of peak blooming. That's expected to last a total of about ten days, but wind and/or rain could knock a lot of the blossoms off. I've never seen the blossoms look better. Every single blossom seemed to be in full bloom on the first six or so trees that I walked under. The rest looked on average to be about 70% bloomed, which is considered peak blooming. The Tidal Basin will be under reconstruction the next two... Read more ..read more
