alright all, ive been looking at some rods online- ive found a sonik dominator x travel spin - 8ft and casts 10-40g. I want to have just 1 travel rod and reel for all my lure fishing. i already have a reel with 10lb mono (4000 size) that i might up to 14lb. Hi, I'm new in terms of catching things to lure fishing, blanking 9 times out of 10. My local rock mark is called the table rocks pool at the end of whitely bay. It's home to Pollock. I'd like to catch Pollock. I've seen videos of people getting Pollock strikes on topwater lures which look really fun. I was looking at the noruma X minnow.
