We’ve created this recipe in celebration of St. David’s Day, one of the most important days in the calender here in Wales. Celebrated throughout the country on the 1st of March it is well known for its vibrant traditional dress, bright yellow daffodils and green leeks. Saint David’s day is also known as the Feast of Saint David which of course got our cogs turning. As we are based in Wales and pride ourselves on using Welsh Steel to manufacture all of our fire pit products, we thought it only makes sense to get one lit and make some Welsh rarebit in true St Davids Style. Make more of the humble pumpkin this Halloween or Bonfire Night with an autumnal fire pit recipe from Helen Graves, co-founder and editor of Pit magazine (the holy grail of live fire cooking).
