I had seen some pro fisherman recommend the 4.25 Flatworm. I thought I might make a mold of them also. I looked at Tackle Warehouse and was shocked to see they cost $1.12 each! For a little finesse worm! So that prompted me to do some looking at prices of popular soft plastics. Here's what I found, Tackle Warehouse price before tax.
5" Yamamoto Senko $.75
Zoom Finesse Worm $.27
Zoom Baby Brush Hog $.44
Keitech 2.8 Swimbait $.75
3.6" Flatworm $.90

I remember when these first came out in '92. They caught so many fish in a tank at a tackle show it made the news: Phish Stick News. I don't think I got any. I was fishing with a friend around 2006 when he told me his regular fishing partner's go to bait was the PHish Stick. I think I bought some and tried them and was amazed at how well they worked. There were...

I am trying to get organized...no really! I am, but it is difficult when you're OCD. I'm having a heck of a time finding tackle storage boxes that fit my Nitro 19. They are either too wide, too short, too long, etc. Every organizer I've tried fits so loosely that they will bounce around in the compartment. Anyone else have this problem and found a solution? I suspect that I will simply have to live with the boxes not fitting snugly ..read more

I never tow without a boat cover, but for some reason yesterday I did....and of course something blew out of the boat. Does anyone know of a good sonar cover, not the hard plastic ones, but maybe soft protective cover that can be velcro'd or otherwise secured to the sonar head during travel ..read more
