I've got a Stanislawski Perfex resistance release which I've had for some time, but don't use. My winter 3D league is coming to an end soon and I think I'll try it again during the off-season. I know I have target panic to an extent, although I shoot half decent, and am hoping to work through it. My question is this: Do any of you actually hunt with a resistance release ..read more

Shimmied up trees and sat or stood on limbs for the first couple of years of deer hunting until finally the great invention of the Baker tree stand. Wow these new climbers look nice. I have had a LW for 16 years and all of the upgrades they describe hit the mail on the head. 12 lbs. slim design. Lots of useful features. I really like how the LW allows the user to stand against the tree without a seat in the way. but I got to start saving my money. LW is $1000. The XOP is $600 range but not released yet. Probably save up for the LW someday ..read more
