I grew up hunting in the 90's and we didnt wear safety glasses while hunting or shooting clays. Maybe that was just us, but I really never saw anyone else wear them aside from people shooting clays. We always wore ear muffs for clays though. I work in heavy industry, and for the last 20 years, I practically live with saftey glasses on. No unusual at all where I live. In fact it would be unusual if I found no nests. But usually the doves nesting are invasive Eurasian Doves. Loud aggressive and messy. I try to destroy their nest before eggs are laid if I can get to them. They have taken to the palm trees on my property in recent years to avoid me. But this one is different. Made a dxf and burned me a quater plate bird feeder on break with some drops, then on 2nd break hit it in the press. Got home and burned some 6011 on it with a beer. Anyone ever do a activity & wound up doing something you'd never do & not realize it until after you've done it? Here's one of mine, true story. This one is 30+ years old. Group of us were dove hunting one afternoon in a corn field. Turned out to be a real good dove hunt. Lots of doves & shooting.
