Have seen a Mature buck shed Both January 15th. Seen a younger buck drop one side January 4th and still have the other side till April 10th. Seen a few bucks both sides in mid April ..read more

This bull didn’t make it back to the winter range this year. Friend found him dead on the rutting grounds with a brown bear sleeping on him. He was old so no telling what took him out. Here’s a video I slapped together of watching him last winter waiting to shed. Too long of a video but I cut out some of the good stuff and it’s still too long.
