2024 Sound Requirements: 87dbA @ 75ft on course
In order to comply with our new contract with Devens Airfield, the final sound requirements have been determined. As we have previously explained, over the last year, there were numerous complaints about sound that have endangered NER’s use of the Devens facility. Thankfully, our partnership with MassDevelopment allowed us to continue using the site for 2024.
Our new sound regulation will be 87dbA @ 75ft on course.

2023 Season Ending
The NER autocross season concluded the last weekend of October with a test-and-tune on Saturday, and the annual Team Challenge that had 66 entries on Sunday. After all the final scores and runs were tallied, NER is proud to announce a full slate of Class Champions for this year. Please congratulate each of the driver’s below on their season title.
Rounding out the wins for 2023 is Evan LeBlanc who claimed this year’s Stirling Moss trophy, which capped off a highly impressive season and a dominating Moss win, and added to his PAX and PRO season titles as well.

2023 Solo Nats Event Page
Historic 50th Anniversary of Solo Nats
Once again, NER will be one of the largest regions attending Solo Nats with 40 drivers towing to Lincoln, Nebraska this week. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the event, this week is poised to be a memorable one for the 1300-plus competitors. their crew, friends and families attending this momentous occasion.

NER Steps Up: Hosts First ProSolo
For a region as large and dominating as New England has been in the autocross community, it might come as a surprise that it has never hosted a ProSolo event. That all changed the weekend of Aug 11-13.
NER joined forces with Cumberland Motor Club to utilize the Brunswick Executive Airport for it’s first ProSolo. This also happens to be the last ProSolo stop in the 2023 tour before the culminating event at Solo Nationals in Lincoln, September 1-3.

2023 Season Points and Schedule
As the spring season morphs into summer, the NER Autocross program already has 3 events under its belt to date. Our “Knock off the Rust” from April 2, and the first two points events on April 23 and May 7. Official results and the points standings are all updated and available on the Pit Talk Results page.
Registration links are updated for all events throughout the season. Simply visit the NER 2023 Solo Schedule page to find them and sign up. The next points event will be Sunday, June 11 – our “Speedway Slalom” session.

Autocross Drivers Re-Build LeGrand Dragon
As most racers know – winter is for building and prepping racecars for the coming season. Two years ago, we followed JB Swan and Steve Introne as they both set out to build new B-Spec cars for Road Racing. This season, we’re following Tamra and Andrew Krystinik from the Autocross program. Both very familiar faces in our Solo world, Tamra is also a reigning Pro Solo National Champion.

2022 Solo Champs
As 2022 comes to a close, it’s time to congratulate all the class champions for this year’s Solo/Autocross season. After 11 events between April and October, these 24 drivers have claimed their titles for the year.

Solo Nats Goes Back to the 80’s
Break out the neon, leg warmers, and big hair bands – because the Solo drivers went BACK TO THE 80’S for the 2022 Solo National Championships. Another great week, where the racing is amazing, but the people and friends are what truly make this event special.
