Anyone jig for springs using a Riptide lures anymore? I dug one out of my dads old tackle box the other day. I remember back in the 80s, these used to be the hottest thing going. If I'm reading this correctly salmon fishing will be shut down Sombrio all the way to Pedder bay (including Otter point/Sooke/Beachy/Becher Bay/ come 1 Aug. Chinook is closed now in those areas already with only area 19 (Victoria waterfront) open for 1 clipped till 31 May.
