Good evening fishing people! Here's a twofer for ya, one for Thursday and one for today. We made it out Thursday to the 3 mi bridge. It was windy and cold if you were in the shade but we stuck it out. My buddy Ted wound up getting two nice sheeps, one was about 17 and the other was over 18". Both were caught on fiddlers tight up against the pilings. I got some sort of a little grunt thing.. whatever . Friday, 11/24/2023, about 4pm went to the county pier in Panama City Beach. Brought some Pinfish, 2 Grunts and a Croaker in the live bucket and 5 frozen large Grunts. As soon as we got over water, I see 8 Eagle rays cruising near the surf line then 2 small Blacktip sharks. As I'm trying to get 1 of my rods out of the cart I get tangled badly. Sorry for the late report, but the whole work thing has been throwing my fishing habit off. Fished 3MB with another forum member Friday 10 Nov. The Mangrove bite was on at the 3MB pilings. Live shrimp and cut bait (pinfish) was what they were eating. Came up just short of a 2 man limit in about an hour after a late start. Left Daybreak around 1100 and the bite was done by 1230. Went out for a couple of hours with the family on base. We got some nice 14" grey snapper right off the bat. They ate live shrimp. It turned off soon after and we headed to the seawall.
