Hello, Recently, I have been attempting to make some backup versions of PS1 game discs. I tried this initially with the standard Verbatim CD-Rs. I tried writing Silent Hill to a disc and my ps1 couldn't make it through the initial cut scene (I am using FPSXBoot). Then I learned that those (made by CMC Magnetics) are not very good so I bought some Verbatim Datalife+ discs and tried again. This worked better, but FMV cutscenes are still stuttering and/or not working. Spoken dialogue cuts in and out. Some actions, such as inspecting items, take a very long time to do. CONF: Windows 10. i3 Core 3.6 GHz, 16 GB RAM, SSD 240 GB, second SSD 240 GB I have the same problem with at least 3 programs with CD writing. I/O problem. Recently I have switched off >>PowerConfig on hiberfil.sys -h (About 6 GB, I have read that is possible). But that was mistake. Windows does not start after few days. I had to restore the hardware to the FIRST setup and the computer BOOTED. Then I have restore hiberfil.sys to ON. And almost all OK now. Still some problems with ACPI on second SSD 240 GB. Hello, I am burning an audio cd from mp3 files utilizing the write mode using the cue sheet.  I add files which take up more space than the CD can hold.  I am presented with the option to overburn or truncate just before burning.  I choose truncate.  However Imgburn seems to overburn anyway. It is my understanding that truncate writes as much as the disc reports it will hold.   Before I burn the disc, Imgburn reports the free space as: 736,960,512 bytes.   After choosing truncate, the disc ends up with 759,498,752 bytes written to it. &nbs ..read more

I have a 4.7gb DVD-R and when I tried to burn a Windows 10 ISO to it, imgburn said Disc Not Empty. I accidentally selected USB mode when windows told me and when I use format with imgburn it doesnt show DVD-R option. And when I try to burn with windows image burner it ejects the disc automatically. I dont have any other DVDs and I dont know if I screwed myself as I really need to recover my laptop. every game I use hangs at 50% with an I/0 error, and even games smaller than the standard DVD size (8.5gb) show an error when reading the Xbox, but many games like Far Cry 3 or Black ops 2 has more than 8.5 gb so I use it to try to write to the disk ..read more

Can ImgBurn create an ISO of an existing Windows10 OS Hard Drive that has 3rd party apps already installed beforehand? My plan is to take this Win10 ISO and use it inside of a VirtualBox VM I have running in Linux Mint.  Will my idea work?  I ask because I am uncertain if ImgBurn can create an ISO of an existing Win10 OS. Trying to rip an old CD here that uses mixed-mode. 1 track for files and the rest for individual music tracks. It starts and instantly stalls at the bottom just saying "Analyzing Tracks... Hello everyone, hope you are all ok! I created/authored a 6.73GB PAL DVD which leads to 'The End of The World' problem:   I carefully followed Cynthia's guide and created several split points. The result is a bunch of Average Layer Break Positions: I seem to remember that SPLIP/Yes = bad and that it was possible to toggle it? I don't see how it can be done here, but perhaps I remember this wrongly. Any suggestions? Do I just pick one of these and burn? Thanks ..read more
