Hi Rob A little strange that the camera split the recordings when saving to your sd card, i would have thought saving to the cameras internal memory would do that. I have video studio pro X9. I am having a problem when I insert a video into the timeline and it is very small in the preview panel. I have tried the suggestion given with regard to ticking attributes and then distort video but this does not allow the clip to fill the whole preview panel . There is a white border appears on a black screen in portrait shape on the preview panel which holds the clip inside and does distort it. The image with less then 20% if it's real height, it's not trimmed, but flattened. I tried different VHS and acquisition devices and and in all the problem persists. This is tape is a copy I received many year ago from an original ( that it's lost ) in NTSC format. They made a copy to PAL system, the copy I have, but I do not know if it was done the wright way.
