First let me say that my knowledge of iPods is limited to (only on my Mid 2011 27"iMac) listening to music and it would appear under the soun option thing as iPods. Don't know anything about updating iPods. Didn't know iPods could be updated. My iPods came in a box showing 3 model numbers: A2032 A2031 A1602. I just purchased, (on the way from eBay), an iPod touch 7th gen. for use in my Kenwood head unit in my car. It will be powered by USB plug-in. Can someone point me to simple directions on how to add my music collection from Music v1.3.6.14 on my MacBook Pro to the iPod touch? I wanted an intercom system for my house but wanted one that could do other stuff, play music etc. Homepods are working wonderfully.
