Summerville News has learned Dorchester County Chief Deputy Sam Richardson will announce his campaign for sheriff on Monday in Summerville and confirmed with Richardson himself. The campaign announcement is expected to take place at Noon in Hutchinson Square. Dorchester County, S.C. - Former President Donald Trump's rally in Summerville on Sept 25th, 2023 cost local taxpayers $26,071.22 according to an invoice sent to the Trump campaign obtained by SummervilleNews.com.
