Hey there,
I am posting here to guage interest on those who have the Unifi CK Gen 2+ and are looking to hack it. It is looking like I am able to get a full MMC dump, access UART, and edit the boot images. My end goal is to have a fully functional version of Debian running on it that isn't locked down with an OverlayFS. It is defninitely looking like it is possible from what I can see, but I am not sure where to start. My guess is I need to edit the boot.img and modify the ramdisk scripts to...

Hello all, recently I have acquired quite a few of Huawei's LTE modem/router device B610s-76a, B610s-77a and B610s-79a. From the outside the devices look absolutely identical, therefore I am not sure what is the difference (if any) exist between the 3 models. They all are retired Softbank Japan devices that can no longer be activated on that network. I have struggled to find any information about them that is in English. Ideally I would like to use them as an LTE base station with a...

Have a nice day
I have a Mifi6620L device and it was interrupted while updating and now my device does not turn on and even the charging screen does not appear. When I connect it to the computer, I understand that it is in EDL mode. I did a lot of research to revive my device and found some information with qtools, but I think partitions.xml and patch.xml files are required to revive the device? I would like to share the data and screenshots I obtained below. I would be very grateful if you...

Intel / Infineon XMM6260 & X-GOLD 626 Modem Hack-Pack Release!
After several unsuccessful months of trying to get my phone (application) to
talk AT-commands with the baseband processor (BP), I've had to learn a lot of
hardware and internal Android and OEM based tricks and secrets. Although this
have not been enough to make anything of practical use, it is definitely worth
sharing. If not at least some more talented people may be able to continue
where I have left of...
Now, it should be...

Hi everyone!
I wanted to know if there is a way to use a phone or tablet as an external touchscreen monitor. It's for a raspi so I don't want client software of any kind. If there's a specific old device that will work, tell me. Rooting and ROMs will also work for me
I know about spacedesk/vnc and a capture card (neither of which will work for me ..read more

Hello folks,
I guess this is the most appropriate subforum to ask this kind of question.
I'm having a broken screen Samsung Galaxy Note 5. And instead of find a touch screen replacement, I want to just get rid of the screen entirely
and instead connect the board to external monitor via hdmi interface preferrably. I believe the part that connect the touch screen is called "LCD fpc connector", correct me if I'm wrong.
So I guess I need something like an adapter that convert "fpc connector"...
