In this Servant passage we again see Jesus Christ. He is revealed as the one who atoned for our sins. This means that he took upon himself the guilt and the penalty of our sin, though he himself had not sinned. Today we are called to see Jesus as the Suffering Servant who took away our sin, and ourselves as the sinners for whom he died. With this vision of Jesus and ourselves, we repent and believe in him. We find our assurance before God to live and to take the message of the church to the world. Grac ..read more
