Team USA artistic swimmer Anita Alvarez is heading to Paris to compete in her third consecutive Olympic Games this summer following her performance in the team and duet events at the World Aquatic Championships in Doha.
This marks the U.S. artistic swimming team’s first Olympic appearance in the team event since 2008.

LEWISVILLE, Texas – The Wheaton College (Mass.) artistic swimming team placed fifth at the Collegiate National Championship following events on the final day of the title meet at Westside Aquatic Center in Lewisville, Texas.
The Lyons tallied 58.5 points over the two-day championship, finishing just a point and a half out of fourth place. COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State synchronized (artistic) swimming team earned a win over Michigan and Minnesota with 103 points at Saturday’s North Regional Championships.
Prior to the meet, the Buckeyes recognized 2024 seniors Emily Armstrong, Victoria Carlson, Carol Walsh and Megan Wong. The group has helped the team to two straight national titles and two undefeated regular seasons in its time at Ohio State.

The ten teams and 18 duets quota spots have been announced for the 2024 Paris Olympics for artistic swimming. Artistic swimming will take place from August 5-10 in Paris.
Team
10 countries with eight athletes each (and one reserve athlete each) will compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the team event. Men will be allowed to compete for the first time in the Olympics, but each team can have a maximum of two men for the team competition.

With a bronze-medal finish in the mixed team acrobatic routine at the 2024 World Championships in Doha, Qatar, the United States qualified its artistic swimming team for the Olympics for the first time since 2008.
