Can you bring the “Scooty” Ultra lightweight Mobility Scooter on a plane?
Yes! Scooty complies with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations for traveling internationally with mobility scooters and lithium-ion batteries. The FAA’s new rule on batteries is geared specifically to large shipments of lithium-ion batteries. It does not affect individuals’ ability to carry lithium-ion devices on flights or your ability to travel with your Scooty mobility scooter.
Scooty uses a lithium battery rated at 288 watt-hours.
