Cooling a warehouse in summer
Cooling a warehouse in summer is a tought task for any building manager. You know that as the temperature rises outside, it rises even more inside the building. Instead of the already uncomfortable regular temperatures around 80°F, now it gets up to 100° to 110°F. High temperatures like this are brutal for morale, lead to constant employee turnover, and are even dangerous.
We often hear stories of workers having to walk around with sponges under their hardhats to keep cool. Alternatively, some employees take multiple breaks an hour to cool down from the high tempe ..read more

A Data Center Cooling System utilizes a variety of different ventilation technologies. This includes traditional solutions like powered exhaust fans and air conditioning, as well as newer technologies like adiabatic natural cooling and natural ventilation. While all these solutions won’t work in all environments, we can help you find the right solution for yours.
New Data Center Cooling System
Improvements in computing equipment and in-system cooling have changed the game for data center cooling. Some vendors now suggest a tolerable temperature of 90° Fahrenheit or more for their equipment. Th ..read more

Our company has made huge strides in the last 12 months so we felt it was now time to revisit our branding for the Moffitt Logo – 2024. Back in 2019 we made a major update to the Moffitt logo. The “solutions ring” represents Moffitt as a company better than the old fan blade (remember that one?). Now, just a few years later, we’re tweaking our logo just a little to reflect where we are now and we’re we’re going in the future.
Now More Than “Natural”

Industrial Make-up air units (MAU) adjust air temperature and humidity in a building. Instead of recycling or recirculating the stagnating air already in the building, make-up air units bring in fresh air from the outside. This fresh air contributes to a better working environment. Make-Up Air Unit comes in heating or non-heating varieties.

Ensuring that your industrial fan is up to date and in good working order lowers the chances of it causing injury to those who need to be around them.
At Moffitt, we sell everything from small axial fans to large hooded supply fans. Despite differences in sizes, motors, and configurations, each and every one shares the same ind ..read more
