The Santa Ana River Trail will be extended in Redlands. San Bernardino County approved a $6.8 million state grant Tuesday, April 23, to complete a stretch of the trail from California to Orange streets. The grant will be used to design, construct and complete a 3.9-mile portion of the trail, according to the county. A teenager was arrested on suspicion of being involved in an armed robbery outside a Barnes & Noble store in Redlands, the Redlands Police Department said. Officers responded to the reported theft on Sunday, Feb. 11, outside the store at Citrus Plaza, 27460 W. A 38-year-old motorist was killed and his passenger injured when his pickup truck veered off of a road north of Moreno Valley and slammed into a tree, authorities said Tuesday. Adrian Magallanes of Redlands was fatally injured about 11:20 p.m. Monday on San Timoteo Canyon Road, near Deadwood Court, according to the California Highway Patrol. The city of Redlands has terminated its agreement with Shangri-La Industries to provide housing for the homeless amid allegations the embattled Los Angeles developer misappropriated more than $100 million in state funds. A man was in critical condition Monday, April 15, after he was sucker punched on a Redlands street, the Redlands Police Department said. Colton resident Andrew P.
