Having escaped the dangers of war, Ukrainian refugee Tetyana Vakhnovska is grateful for the opportunity to sing in the Georgia Symphony Orchestra’s season-ending performance of ‘Beethoven’s Universe.’ Vakhnovska is one of four winners of the GSO’s Beethoven’s 9th national vocal competition. The GSO is happy to welcome Ann Stoskopf as our newest staff member. Ann will be serving as our Business and Patron Manager, which means she’ll probably be the first voice you hear when you call the office to purchase a ticket, make a donation, or any other area where you might need assistance.
Ann comes to us with over 20 years of experience as a bookkeeper and office manager. Georgia Symphony announces winners of nationwide Beethoven 9th vocal competition
(Marietta, Ga., March 4, 2024) – The Georgia Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Timothy Verville announce the results of a nationwide Beethoven 9th Vocal Competition. Marietta, GA, February 1, 2024 – The Georgia Symphony Orchestra (GSO) and Music Director Timothy Verville announce the finalists of their nationwide Beethoven 9 Vocal Competition.
The Beethoven 9 Vocal Competition was created by the GSO to provide an equal and open opportunity for vocalists across the U.S. to compete regardless of background.
