Arket smashed it’s way onto the UK high street in 2017 just after it’s launch by the H&M group. Since then its popularity has grown season upon season truly embedding itself into every fashionista’s wardrobe.
The brands aesthetic is clean, minimal, simplicity and timeless. It has a definite Scandinavian feel to the look of the brand and one you truly want to buy into. It is a lifestyle brand with the offering of womens, mens, children and baby means you can dress your whole family in the same coolness together. Most people shop online and most people prefer it over shopping in person. You might be time poor, you might not enjoy going out and shopping, using changing rooms or getting over whelmed by the shops full of clothes. Me, I love shopping in person which is why I do it for a living. But I also love shopping online. One of my most popular services are my online shopping look books.

Navigating the fast-paced world of fashion can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to shopping on the high street. While high street fashion offers a variety of trendy pieces at affordable prices, it can often result in a closet filled with fleeting trends that you go off after one wear. Here I am offering you a chance to see pieces that I know are good quality, that will elevate your style and will align with your personal style. Some pieces to refresh your wardrobe and give your wardrobe a new lease of life for 2024.

My big prediction for the coming season is that knitted jackets, bomber style jackets, cropped jackets and boucle fabrics are going to be a must-have piece for Spring.
The momentum has been gathering on the bomber shape for a number of years so it is only natural for it to evolve into other fabrics and take on a renewed styling for 2024.
A knitted jacket is like your Shacket move on (and equally annoyingly has to be described everytime you say it). For me a knitted jacket is a heavier weight cardigan, one you could button or zip up, so acts like a jacket but isn’t as heavy or you can wear you ..read more

Right now as the temperature hits 30 degrees in the UK short sets are the only thing getting me through this hot weather. When on holiday I live in short sets, they are chic, effortless and easy to wear together. What makes them great is the fact you get so many outfits in one, packing them doesn’t mean just one outfit but lots of other combinations when you pair them with other pieces in your suitcase.

The knitted jacket is quickly becoming my favourite new Spring item. There are so many great jackets around this year to choose from, blazers, bombers and denim shackets but this one is a great hybrid between a piece of knitwear and a cardigan. It’s currently keeping me warm layer on top of a long sleeve t-shirt and done up, but in the Spring I will wear it open with t-shirts and vests, over dresses and with skirts. Its the perfect piece to update your work or weekend wardrobe. See my picks below…

Now is the perfect timing to bag yourself a new pair of boots for the season. Ones that you can start to wear now until Spring. It can be tricky to know what suits you, whats the latest style and what shapes go with what outfits you wear the most. It’s a minefield of heel height and shape, height of the boot, colour or fabric and can overwhelm you when trying to find the perfect pair. Often what you perceive to be something online doesn’t always look that way on you either, so trying them on is always a must.

The last couple of Winter’s the knitted dress has had a resurgence but it’s updated for 2022. These easy to throw on dresses can be worn for work, weekend, the school run or out for evening all depending on your footwear. I wear mine with trainers and boots, with bare legs right now and thick black tights in the colder weeks. I love that it keeps me warm when working from home, I can pop on a blazer for work appointments and then a leather biker for evenings out. It’s so versatile you will wonder what you did without one!

Around this time of year you’ll find me knee deep in my own wardrobe rather than everyone else’s. This time of year is perfect to clear the clutter and make some space for the new season clothes pulled out from my storage boxes. Every inch of space will be taken up by heavy knits, leather trousers, knitted dresses, coats and big fluffy scarves.
When preparing your wardrobe space for Autumn, it’s all about creating the feeling of a clean page to greet you when you get dressed every morning. With a clear wardrobe you can see what you love about your Winter style, what you can’t wait to wear aga ..read more

Transitional is the period we are in right now, beginning of September into October. When the weather becomes changeable but not yet cold enough to wear jumpers and coats. It’s a strange time of year, trying to hold onto Summer but your mindset is moving into Autumn because of back to school, back to work and often new beginnings as we start the countdown to Christmas.
This period can be the hardest to know what to wear, quite often leaving the house in one outfit and having to strip off to another one on your way home. Layering is often the answer to most of the styling problems, but having t ..read more
