Would you be interested in an Xbox port? Remember the PS5 game Forspoken? We've covered it a couple of times here at Pure Xbox, but we're talking multiple years ago - our first article about the game actually goes all the way back to July of 2022! Forspoken originally ended up releasing as a PS5 console exclusive on January 24th, 2023 — also getting a PC version that actually arrived on the Microsoft Store as well — but there's been no sign of an Xbox version in the years since. One out now, one launching very soon. At the end of last month, we brought news of five fresh additions to Xbox's 'Stream Your Own Game' library alongside 10 more titles that were planned for the near future - and since then, Microsoft has announced another two major additions to the service. Today, Xbox has revealed that the upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadows will work through Stream Your Own Game, via Xbox Cloud Gaming. A pricey endeavour. Earlier this week, we heard that Microsoft has seemingly held talks with Ubisoft about buying some of the French company's gaming IP - and a fresh report tells us that purchasing these franchises would likely cost a pretty penny for the Xbox owner, if they were to go ahead and pick anything up. By way of a new report from outlet Bloomberg, it's said that Ubisoft is looking to invite investment into "a new entity" containing some of its big IP, including Assassin's Creed.
