A 90-year-old care home resident stepped out to enjoy the ‘hard to believe’ thrill of joining a community pride parade waved on by thousands of well-wishers.  Patrick Haddingham, who lives at Colten Care’s Avon Cliff in Bournemouth, donned his finest jacket and took to the streets for the annual Bourne Free celebration. A WELLINGBOROUGH care home has raised money for charity and brought the community together through its open day.   Anchor’s Glenvale Park raised £400 for the Royal British Legion. The fundraising efforts were supported by care team colleagues, residents at Glenvale Park, and members of the community who joined in the fun.   The day involved a series of activities, from a tombola to a lucky dip. Staff complete 16-mile walk and raise £760 for charity

STAFF at HC-One’s Haven care home, in Peacehaven, East Sussex, have celebrated after showing ‘commitment and determination’ to complete a 16-mile hike to raise £760 for Alzheimer’s Society.
