It was time to update my pool cue holder (rack) to a more modern look and to get another piece of furniture up off the floor. You see Oscar, my dog, sheds a lot and the more furniture on the floor makes cleaning so much more time consuming. So this pool cue rack is going to be hanging on the wall or floating!
BEFORE - So many stands to vacuum around.

I recently got my Thunder Nova 35/100 CO2 laser and I thought better way to become familiar with it than to create some rubber stamps for my business. In this post, I will share with you how I created a small logo stamp, a business card stamp and a large stamp used to make my own t-shirts. You could also use these stamps to make any of your own packaging. So, let’s get started.

I live in a 1970’s ranch style house that has a sunken living room and it has been a challenge to figure out the layout. Once I figured out where to put the couch and TV that didn’t interfere with the window or walkways, I was left with an awkward and narrow corner. This corner backs up to my entryway that has this old metal railing. So many challenges…
BEFORE - Was an awkward wasted space!

Outdoor wood furniture warms up a space, but it takes a beating… from the sun beating down on it to getting wet and drying out continually or maybe even snow where you live.

When we first moved into this house 7 years ago this was my office and my husbands part time office, so I created the double desk top and that was pretty much all we did in here. Then when Covid hit, my husband moved in here full time and I was out…. haha! But he has since rented an office space and I get to make this space all mine. So to start I am going to to ..read more

We had this hill in our backyard and couldn’t get anything to grow on it. Plus, we were in need of some level ground around the pool that gets sun for summer sunbathing… so I thought why not take out the hill and build a floating deck!
BEFORE - the hill was way bigger than it looks in this picture. So much dirt!

I am turning into a crazy plant lady and it’s tough going because my house is so dark! My house is north south facing with only one window on the west side of the house in my guest bathroom. On top of that I have a giant mesquite tree in my front yard (south side) and a giant 16’ deep patio on the back (north side). So, needless to say I have needed plants that are tolerant of low light and by tolerant I mean can survive in low light because all plants need light.
