It all started back in 1998 when Mr. Sietse Bakker decided to launch a website that will fill up the gap of missing information about the preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest. Since then ESCToday has walked a long distance of almost 20 years online. Under his wings, the site grew into the most popular independent Eurovision news website.

The 2024 Eurovision rehearsals continued in Malmo today, the second set of acts from the Second Semi-final graced the Eurovision stage for the very first time at the Malmo Arena.
The first and second artist rehearsals will be held behind closed doors, hence they will be closed to the press. A short clip of the artist and his/her impressions from the first artist rehearsals will be released on the official Eurovision Tik Tok channel. Whilst snippets from the second artist rehearsals will be released on the official Eurovision Youtube channel.

Nikkie Tutorials, the internationally acclaimed star and 2021 Eurovision co host will have the grand honour of announcing the Dutch ‘Douze Points’ at the Eurovision 2024 Grand Final.
Nikkie Tutorials will be the Dutch Eurovision 2024 spokesperson at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 Grand Final on Saturday 11 May.
In 2021 Nikkie already said “Good evening Europe!“ as one of the presenters of the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. This year she will be announcing the Dutch ’12 Points’ from the Oldehove Tower in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.

The Eurovision 2024 first artist rehearsals continue in Malmo today, with the second set of acts from the Second Semi-final scheduled to take the Eurovision stage for the first time.
The first and second rehearsals will be held behind closed doors and will not be open to the press. These rehearsals will be running from 27 April- 4 May.
We will see 8 countries from the Second Semi-final rehearsing for the very first time.

The EBU has unveiled the concept behind the 2024 Eurovsision postcards. This year’s Eurovision postcards will carry a smaller carbon footprint and will feature a more personal message from the competing artist along with a glimpse from his/her country’s Eurovision history and heritage.
This year’s Eurovision postcards have been both cost-efficient and eco-friendly, the host nation has not sent sent out crews to any of the competing countries. Azerbaijan at Eurovision
Azerbaijan debuted at the Eurovision Song in 2008 and has won the competition in 2011 with Ell and Nikki. The country succesfully hosted the competition in Baku in 2012.
