JOLIET, Ill. — A mother was charged after her 12-year-old daughter overdosed and died on fentanyl and heroin Sunday in Joliet. Just after 8:25 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 1500 block of East Washington Street on the report of an unresponsive juvenile. A 12-year-old girl was found on the second floor of the home unresponsive. CPR and Narcan was used and the girl was transported to Silver Cross Hospital.
