Fall Trail Update Upper Griffen – Fromme
Big thanks to Brent and all Youth Trail Stewards, lots of dirt work has been completed lifting the trail tread. Foundations filled with rock and dirt. Older Gold hole covered and renaturalized.
Empress Bypass– Seymour
TAP Partner: Neptune Terminals
Repair work for Empress Bypass focussed on fixing slumped berms that had crumbled without support. Rebuilding of 2 berms near the bottom of Empress Bypass with improving drainage and re-establishing a safe route for AMTB riders too. Thank you! TELUS Friendly Future Foundation has donated $5,000 to the North Shore Mountain Bike Association to support cleaning up the trails and getting them back into shape for the public to access.
Support for the trails comes in many forms. From TAP partnership, Member fees and long term charitable donors. The support needed to sustain the trail network is constant.
