Why are some women more confident than others? Why is it harder for some women to build their confidence? Female confidence is something I have been fascinated with for a long time. In this article I break down my findings, and what’s helped me throughout my corporate career and running my own business.
I used to be a shy kid, so I know firsthand what it takes to go from being timid to being able to talk on a stage.
When I read about the confidence gap back in 2014 it really resonated with me. Katty Kay and Claire Shipman really did a fantastic job of providing evidence showing that wo ..read more

Nobody knows if a brand is truly ethical, no brand can claim to be 100% ethical and sustainable either. I always advise that you do your research, and start with what’s most important to YOU to help narrow down what brands are most aligned with what you believe in. Use trusted resources like Ethical Brand Directory and Good on You to help you shop in line with your values. If you’re looking for fully fledged vegan sites then try immaculate vegan, or dress like you give a damn. There is no black and white in the ethical and sustainable fashion space, just multiple shades of grey, despite what s ..read more

If you’ve ever considered an personal style makeover, I would recommend you explore a sustainable styling makeover instead. It not only saves you money but the entire approach is more focused on styling not shopping.
What do sustainable personal stylists do?
Sustainable stylists like myself have an emphasis on being resourceful and kinder to the planet, supporting quality over quantity.
For those who are truly invested in promoting a slower, more sustainable lifestyle (yep, that’s me) the emphasis is on utilising your existing wardrobe and garments that are already in circulation. I am a hug ..read more

Is it best to go for microblading or just stick with makeup? My question about beauty procedures after being safe and ethical is wondering ‘how sustainable’ they are. So I have started to investigate… and will continue to add to this blog as I find out more.
What is microblading?

Discover sustainable, eco-friendly, non-toxic nail salons in London that offer a luxury service. Pampering with no nasties and consideration for the planet.
I was prompted to write a blog about this after my partner really struggled to an eco-friendly nail salon for my 40th birthday. I personally hate having to give up on life’s luxuries in order to have a more eco-friendly experience, but I accept it’s part of my lifestyle choice. However, London is finally starting to cater to luxury and sustainability-conscious folks.
I have created a Sustainable Shopping Map to showcase the hot spots in Lo ..read more
