A police chase last month ended when a pickup truck flew over an embankment and landed on top of three other cars inside a Vallejo Toyota dealership, according to dispatch audio. The incident began just before 4:00 p.m. on June 27 when a woman allegedly pointed a gun at a man during an argument in the 2000 block of Broadway in Vallejo, according to dispatch audio. A truck fire in Vallejo last Friday brought neighbors and firefighters together to prevent the blaze from spreading to nearby homes and vehicles. The fire started at 5:45 p.m. on Yolo Avenue near Arkansas Street, engulfing a parked pickup truck in flames. Neighbors used garden hoses to combat the fire, but the flames spread to a nearby field of dry grass and weeds and ignited a parked RV.
