Bellybands have long been a popular choice for women's concealed carry; based on data from my Holsters quiz, 56% of women who conceal-carry use one. But what makes this a preferred method, and how do you know if you're purchasing a good product?
In the last seven years that I've been carrying a gun, I've tried multiple bellybands, and I'm delighted with the recent improvements companies have made to this product. Bellybands have come a long way, from simple elastic bands with pockets to bands supporting Kydex holsters. Today I’d like to share my favorites and what I see as the pros and cons ..read more

Pleated Skirt Styled 3 Ways for Concealed Carry
There’s always a temptation to pull out darker colors during winter and if I don’t make an effort, I may never wear the lighter colors that I truly love. So I was thrilled to find this cream pleated skirt from Ann Taylor! Up until recently, it hasn’t been terribly cold in Ohio, so I styled it with my favorite pointed stiletto pumps and ballet flats. However, as the temperatures drop, my tall boots will be more appropriate.
Fit: When the skirt arrived, I was originally disappointed that it was loose around the waist. I almost exchanged it for anot ..read more

One common concern women have with concealed carry is imprinting, which means showing a bump or outline of the gun through your clothes. You have every right to wear a gun if you're carrying it legally, but not everyone needs to be aware of its presence. To maintain the element of surprise and stop the spread of panic, it is imperative that you keep your firearm concealed. But how do you pull this off while still looking chic?

What should you look for in a gun belt?
A belt-mounted Kydex (or hard) holster, is arguably the safest and most secure method of concealed carry because it allows you to carry at your waist. This is the most natural place to carry a gun for self-defense because you can reach for it without stooping or shifting and a belt that keeps the gun firmly in position.
Because a belt is such a valuable staple in your concealed carry wardrobe make sure you ..read more

Concealed Carry in a Dress or Skirt
Historically, men have been the largest demographic of gun owners, but the tides are changing. More than 21.5 million women in the United States have chosen to exercise their second amendment rights! It’s not surprising that manufacturers have recognized the need for more feminine holster options.
There are many holster choices, but the thigh holster (or leg holster) gets our vote for situations that call for dresses, especially in the summer when the weather gets hotter, and clothing gets smaller.

FULL-SIZED Gun For Women
Concealed carry is increasingly important in today's unpredictable climate. It has the potential to save lives and provide peace of mind for the carrier. Carrying a gun on a daily basis can be especially necessary for women, so this begs the question, why is the gun industry still geared so heavily towards men?
With the "F" in Walther’s newly launched PDP F-Series standing for female, this handgun finally provides a solution that goes beyond th ..read more
