If you’re a Toronto Christian single you may wonder how the main Christian dating sites compare in terms of meeting local Toronto singles. We did a bit of research to find out this very thing. While our methodology isn’t perfect, we feel it provides a good window into which of the Christian dating sites caters best to singles living in Toronto. Toronto is home to around 3 million people, with nearly 50% of Toronto adults being single. CFish Christian Dating App: Fake Reviews
Internet Dating Review Blog

We were researching Christian dating apps and, with that, the ratings/reviews that the various Christian dating apps receive from users. We originally had CFish on our list to check out, but then noticed something, um, fishy with their user reviews. The recently added 5-star reviews were from “users” without photos – and with very uncommon names. The quality of the writing was quite poor, and most reviews awkwardly included certain keywords. That was a theme for many of the 5-star reviews for CFish. The reviews contained wording that people would search for to find a similar app. This could be ..read more

For those of you who have never tried online dating before, you may wonder: is online dating worth your time? is online dating worth the cost? Let’s talk about it from the perspective of those seeking a long-term relationship. Is online dating worth your time? Let’s be real. For most people who try online dating, success won’t be instant. It will likely require time. And when you do “match” with people and maybe go on a few dates, there’s a good chance those people won’t be the one you’re ultimately seeking. But think of it from the other perspective. How else can you potentially “meet” that ..read more

You’re browsing the web, doing your thing, and you get hit with display ads for “Christian Matches Over 35.” Not only that, the – um – imagery is a bit odd. One would think these Christian dating sites would use fairly conservative images in their advertising. So, as you can see below, this case was a bit off. Busty blondes showing lots of cleavage promoting a Christian dating service? Indeed. Something’s up with this. So you decide to click through and you’re met with something quite different. The site, Christian Matches, has this fairly wholesome couple on their homepage. “Register now – F ..read more

How do you get 50% off a Match membership? Just wait a bit. Create your Match profile and then don’t subscribe right away. Of course, the negative of this approach is that you can’t message with anyone while you wait. How long do you have to wait? We can’t say if this will be the same for everyone, but our account waited 10 days before a 50% discount email arrived from Match. This was received by a Canadian member, but we’re guessing American members receive the same type of email. The member also had 6 unread messages. Whether message activity had any affect on the discount email timing, we c ..read more

While the details are sparse, Match Group head Sam Yagan hinted at the launch of a matchmaking service of sorts. It promises to be a more positive approach to matchmaking, compared to what exists currently in many cases. In speaking with Mark Brooks of Online Personals Watch, Sam said the following. We have a big announcement coming out this week in that [matchmaking] space so I can’t I can’t tell you anything specific about that other than we’re big believers in the value of matchmaking. Some of the matchmakers out there use negativity and scare tactics in recruiting their clients. They brin ..read more
