The six MAC satin lipsticks I’ll show you today are amongst my favorite nude lipsticks from MAC ever created – indeed, they suit most skin tones, and are both super pigmented and long lasting!
What more could we wish for?
While MAC has recently released their MACximal lipstick range, which I absolutely love, the Satin lipstick range is still one of my favorites.
The pigment saturation plays a big part for me, especially since I have a tattoo on my bottom lip and sometimes want to cover it entirely.
The comfort, then, and the fact that the Satin lipsticks slowly become matte as the day goes by ..read more

In the midst of winter, all I’m looking for is to feel good, as good as I feel during warm months, and that’s where my beloved Sol de Janeiro products come on stage.
I’ve been collecting the Sol de Janeiro body mists for a few months now, and they were actually the first product from the brand I ever came across.
A few trips from Rome to London and Troyes, my hometown in France allowed me to spend a couple of minutes at the duty-free while waiting for my plane, and well, one look leads to another…
And I got some of the best Sol de Janeiro products like that – and that was before I decided thi ..read more

Hues, tones, shades – whether color is real or a mere visual sensation, the truth is some shades are better suited to all skin tones than others.
As an ex-makeup artist, and a beauty blogger for almost a decade, I have always been passionate about colors, and noticed early on that few people know what colors suit them best.
Working at MAC Cosmetics, Kiko Milano and Sephora while and after studying at the Make Up For Ever Academy to become a makeup artist in the first place showed me a lot of beauty gaps that someone who wears makeup rarely, or just to go to work, might have.
Now, whether you ..read more

New in our MAC lipsticks comparisons, MAC Sweet Deal vs Del Rio vs Natural Born Leader, three amazing shades if you’re looking for long lasting fall and winter lipstick shades!
I’ve already told you a bit about Del Rio a while back in my comparison of Retro vs Del Rio vs Paramount, but since this shade is so versatile, I thought: ‘why not make a kind of pinkish lipstick comparison as well?’.
These three are currently some of my favorite fall MAC lipsticks, and since they’re all super pigmented, long lasting and muted enough that they suit most skin tones, you might very well fall in love with ..read more

If you’re a MAC Cosmetics addict, chances are you’ve looked for the best MAC lip liner and lipstick combinations (and even MAC lipstick dupes from Kiko, NYX or Wet n Wild) more than once.
I know I have, and I thought it would be nice to write up a short post to help you find the best MAC lip liner for Velvet Teddy (and not only brown MAC lip liners!), one of the most beautiful MAC nude lipsticks of all time.
I am an NW15 (NW20 when I tan), and with my olive skin tone, I feel like Velvet Teddy is one of the best choices when I want to go with a nude lipstick shade, even if I’d much rather go f ..read more
