The pressure is on in Philadelphia this year.
Head coach Nick Sirianni has all the talent in the world this year on both sides of the ball, and that is with the Eagles losing two franchise icons in Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox.
FOX Sports’ Craig Carton recently said that he believes if the Eagles don’t win the NFC East this year, Sirianni will struggle to become a head coach in the future.
Here is what he had to say about that on “The Carton Show.”
“If they don’t win the division this year, Nick Sirianni will never be a head coach in the NFL ever a ..read more

For better or worse, the Philadelphia Eagles have one of the most passionate — if not the most passionate — fanbases in all sports.
That’s why the players can either go down as public enemy No. 1 or actual legends, and that kind of duality and risk isn’t for everybody.
Nonetheless, that’s not the case with their new star CB, Cooper DeJean.
Talking to Kay Adams for her “Up & Adams” show, the Iowa product stated that he’s already loving the fans.

The Philadelphia Eagles need to bounce back.
Last season’s campaign was very disappointing, and while it shouldn’t be difficult to do better, they still need Jalen Hurts to take another leap forward.
That’s why, as much as it’s not going to be easy for him to improve from his MVP-caliber season, NFL analyst Dave Zangaro still has faith in him.
Talking on NBC Sports Philadelphia, he talked about how Hurts could still be in for a career year in 2024.

The Philadelphia Eagles have a new star in town.
Signing Saquon Barkley may have been one of the biggest moves of the offseason, and the fans should be very excited about what’s to come.
The Penn State product hasn’t wasted a second to get used to his new team.
Recently, the Eagles got the fans hyped up — and the rest of the league scared — by sharing a clip of Barkley getting some work in with Jalen Hurts.

One of the spiciest moves of the NFL offseason was when Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley left the New York Giants for the rival Philadelphia Eagles.
After signing a three-year deal with a contending team, Barkley should feel reinvigorated and hungry to go be great.
Former Giants wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Plaxico Burress believes this could be Barkley’s best career year.
“This will be Saquon Barkley’s best year as a running back in the NFL,” Burress stated on The Carton Show Tuesday.

The market for NFL running backs keeps plummeting.
This year’s stacked free-agent class may have been the exception to the rule, perhaps because of the big demand for their services.
Nonetheless, teams are often hesitant to make big financial commitments to veteran running backs, as they fall from grace faster and uglier than other players.
That’s especially the case with injury-prone players, and that’s why the New York Giants didn’t bat an eye when they allowed Saquon Barkley to walk out the door.
That was also why some people were shocked to see ..read more

Former NFL wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. has established a second career as the authority on all wide receiver prospects after so many of his pre-draft takes have aged beautifully, most notably when he said that Cooper Kupp was the best receiver in his class despite getting selected in the third round out of Eastern Washington.
Smith gave plenty of honest assessments of many receivers in the 2024 class, and he is not a fan of a certain late-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Philadelphia Eagles made waves this offseason by signing both of their 1,000-yard receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith to three-year deals.
Brown’s deal will go for a total of $96 million and Smith’s deal will go for a total of $75 million.
According to NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Eagles are the first team in NFL history to have two wide receivers that are averaging $25 million per year on each of their current contracts.

The Philadelphia Eagles fell apart down the stretch of last season and lost in the Wild Card round of the playoffs less than a calendar year after getting to the brink of winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
But they have every reason to believe they’re set up for a bounce-back 2024 campaign, especially because of the acquisition of star running back Saquon Barkley.
General manager Howie Roseman said on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he has high hopes for what Barkley will do to boost the Eagles this coming season.

The Philadelphia Eagles are entering a new era.
Two of their beloved veterans in All-Pro center Travis Kelce and All-Pro defensive tackle Fletcher Cox retired earlier this offseason.
GM Howie Roseman appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” Thursday to chat about the current state of the Eagles franchise and the significance of losing a player like Kelce, specifically.
“You don’t replace that, and I think that it would be disingenuous to even pretend like we’re going to replace Jason Kelce. The person and the player. This is a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer,” R ..read more
