RC Vision, the leading social venture promoting STEM education and diversity through radio control car racing, is proud to announce a new partnership with the Rio Ferdinand Foundation and the Grove Park Youth Club Building Preservation Trust (GPYCBPT). Together, the three organisations will be delivering RC-based STEM engagement sessions for young people aged 12-16 in Grove Park, South London, to help address the need for greater diversity and inclusion in STEM education.

RC Vision, a leading organisation promoting STEM education and diversity and inclusion through radio control car racing, is proud to announce two major milestones in its development.
The first is the start of RC Vision's first grant-funded STEM engagement program, beginning in March and funded by the Great Western Railways Community Fund. Today, 2 November 2022, National Engineering Day, a new headcount of the UK’s engineering profession reveals there are over 8.1 million people employed in engineering jobs across the UK. That’s just over a quarter (26%) of the adult working population.

The UK government's All Party Parliamentary Group on Diversity and Inclusion in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) has recently conducted investigations into the lack of diversity and inclusion in these fields. The Hamilton Commission was set up in June 2020 to “improve the representation of Black people in UK motorsport.” A year later, to coincide with the British F1 Grand Prix, the commission’s report, Accelerating Change: Improving Representation of Black People in UK Motorsport, was published.
