UFCA Scholars kicked off their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers U18s at Cantley Park Training Ground. The new-look squad, with a number of first-year scholars progressing from UFCA Under 16s, put in an impressive display against the South Yorkshire outfit to get the 2024-25 season underway. Former Ultimate Football Coaching Academy scholar Tyler Walton has signed a two-year contract with Sky Bet League Two side Accrington Stanley. Walton joined the prestigious UFCA Scholarship Programme following his release from Leeds United Academy. During the two-year programme, Walton played full-time football whilst studying for Level 3 qualifications.
