Human rights organisation Equidem has alleged that female workers producing official merchandise for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup are being exploited.
According to a report published by global human and labour rights group Equidem, women who work in the factories in Bangladesh that create official apparel for FIFA tournaments are being overworked and underpaid.
While the FIFA garments include official merchandise that is available for fans to buy, they does not include the football kits worn by players themselves, which are not manufactured by FIFA.

East London football club Walthamstow FC has unveiled kits featuring designs by mid-19-century designer William Morris's company Morris & Co.
To produce the kit, Walthamstow FC teamed up with Walthamstow-based William Morris Gallery, which is housed in a listed building that was once Morris's family home.
The fit features a botanical design called Yare
The home and away kits, along with a jacket, all feature a botanical pattern named Yare, which was created around 1892 by John Henry Dearle – a textile designer who worked for Morris and Co.

Graphic designer Neville Brody has collaborated with Nike to create a typography for the England women's football kit that references the original Wembley Stadium's art deco origins.
The lettering and numbers are an updated version of the typeface that Brody created prior to the 2014 World Cup for the England men's team football kits.

Sportswear brand Nike has unveiled home and away kits for the England women's football team, which both include blue shorts after players voiced concerns about wearing white while on their period.
Designed by Nike for this summer's Women's World Cup, the home kit features the Nike Pro Short in a hue called Gym Blue, while the away kit's shorts come in Coast Blue with a Gym Blue trim.

Creative agency Hen's Teeth has released the Goalissimo range of football shirts created for human rights group Amnesty International's FIFA: Time to Compensate Migrant Workers in Qatar campaign.

Sports brand Hummel has designed toned-down football kits for the Danish national team to play in at the FIFA 2022 World Cup as a protest against the event being hosted in Qatar.

English team Coventry City will play this season in football kits designed by sports brand Hummel that were informed by the city's Basil Spence-designed cathedral, which was consecrated in 1962.
