STOCKTON – Authorities with Stockton Police conducted an investigation Sunday night following a stabbing and officer involved shooting. At about 8:00pm police officers responded to the 1600 block of East Bianchi Road for a report of a disturbance involving a man armed with a knife. Arriving officers located the suspect, and moments later shots were fired by police. A woman was also found suffering from at least one stab wound. CERES – Authorities with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office investigated the death of a man after an early morning break-in Thursday. At about 4:30am deputies responded to a home on the 3200 block of McGee Road after a woman called 911 reporting someone was breaking into her home. The woman told authorities she was hiding in her bedroom with her daughter. Responding deputies arrived at the home and found a man deceased inside. The woman and her child were not hurt. STANISLAUS COUNTY – Two Modesto men were killed when their vehicle collided while fleeing from police Thursday night. Shortly before 9:00pm officers with the Modesto Police Department made contact with a vehicle near the intersection of Hatch Road and Jim Way. According to a release from the Ceres Police Department, the vehicle fled east and entered Highway 99 where officers lost sight of it. STANISLAUS COUNTY – A crash closed the intersection of Keyes and Geer Roads Thursday night. The crash happened shortly after 9:00pm and involved two vehicles, one appearing to be a red Mustang, the other a dark colored sedan. STOCKTON – Police detectives investigated a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 20 year old man Monday night. Shortly before 9:30pm officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Angel Drive for a report of a person shot. Arriving officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. CERES – A fire that broke out in a recreational vehicle Monday afternoon caused damage to a gas station. The fire happened at about 4:30pm at the Chevron near the intersection of Hatch and Herndon Roads. Two people were seen running in and out of the vehicle before flames grew and spread to the pump and overhang. Firefighters responded and brought the fire under control in about 15 minutes. KEYES – A perimeter in north Keyes has a neighborhood on lockdown while authorities search for suspects. Shortly after 9:00pm deputies with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office tried to stop a vehicle when the occupants fled on foot. Deputies gave chase and established a perimeter along Anna Avenue. TURLOCK – Police officials announced the arrest of a campus supervisor on child pornography charges Wednesday afternoon. The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip after an image was uploaded to an internet based application, leading to the identity of 42 year old John Snoke.
