What I’ve noticed in my career is that often times, clients will come in to see me, not really having an idea of what they want or what to ask for. Let me repeat that! Microblading is always a brow tattoo.  Brow tattoos are NOT always Microblading. Every artist has their own policy(s) for cancellations + reschedules, so I want to make sure that I’m clear that this post in particular only references my own. Let me begin by acknowledging this: I know, I know, my policy is strict!  I’ve been a microblading artist and business owner since 2017 and in those earlier years I experienced sooo many run-ins with no-shows and day-of reschedule requests (this was back when I hadn’t implemented a prepaid deposit fee). YES! Microblading, and or Ombré Brows, is in fact a form of body art/tattooing! By definition, a tattoo occurs when pigment (ink) is implanted into the skin. Although the techniques & tools used in Microblading/Ombre Brows differ from that of a traditional tattoo, the common ground at the end of the day is that ink is being implanted into the skin.
