Ever felt overwhelmed by the amount of tire options on the market? Have no fear because we put together another guide similar to our brake pad guide which breaks down almost 50 of the tires you're most likely to find on a racetrack! Give it a read and let us know what you think, do you agree with use or did we miss the mark on your tire of choice? https://www.wunderladenracing.com/blogs/wunderladen-racing-blog/track-tire-guide ..read more

Hit 153 in the Sport Hatch

Was cruising on I-90 southbound passing O-Hare the other day when a murdered out FG4 with an exhaust flew by me doing easily 120+. It being close to 11pm, traffic was almost nonexistent all the way to the Austin exit so I dropped it to 4th going 90 and floored it. I was running the TSP Stage 1 at the time so despite my engine being incredibly heat soaked in the Chicago summer I was pacing with the 9th gen doing 140. Shifted to 6th, still WOT and just as I hit 153 the car let out a loud ass... Hit 153 in the Sport Hatch ..read more

Civic Sport Hatch Autox in HS?

I'm curious if anyone has made an effort to prep one of these for HS yet. I just picked up a Sonic Grey Sport Hatch Manual as a fun DD and it's great so far, and while I don't intend it to replace my STR prepped AP2 S2000, it seems like a pretty intriguing car for HS on paper. Power feels at least on par with the Fiesta ST if not better (wider power band at least), weight is surprisingly only about 100lb off the Fiesta, the Civic gets 18x8 wheels stock and appears to have room easily in the... Si Coupe Seat Height

Alright guys and girls, how do you fit into your Si Coupe without your head being into the headliner? I’m 5’11” and have the seat back reclined a click or two further than I would prefer, and of course the height adjustment is pumped all the way to the floor. Yet my head is still nearly touching the headliner. I’m looking to AutoX the car this upcoming year and right now that’s not possible, I don’t fit with a helmet on. Am I doing something wrong or do you all recline to a 45*angle and deal... Si Coupe Seat Height ..read more

I’ve benefited from a number of threads where other members have received track day car prep tips, so I wanted to report back to the community what I implemented and how it worked out for me at my first HPDE to help out the next guy/gal to come along. In brief: The Si is a fantastic piece of equipment for a driver who is new to HPDE. It held up to the abuse perfectly, and provides a ton of capacity to learn/grow as a new HPDE driver. Car Prep:... I wanted to give the track guys a heads up. I am going to start parting out my HPD TCA Civic. I havent gotten around to listing any parts yet. Once I do they will be listed in the for sale section. But if any of you guys think of anything off the car you want let me know. I have quite abit of upgrades to the TCA car on it as well (shifter, intake, sway bar, etc.) The car took a good hit at Laguna Seca. Thanks ..read more
