I’m looking to get a rough number of what E9X guys run on our cars for track use on Stock PSS tire sizing (or ps4s since it’s close enough)
I’ve seen as low as 32, and as high as 45. Most seem to be between 34-38.
My cars fully solid/spherical, Coilovers, track alignment, sway bars, and roll center correction for some context ..read more

I have a new set of doors coming in soon so my HGK Fiberglass doors with added layers of inner carbon fiber reinforcement are for sale. I've also installed the OEM crash beam on the driver side door. They weigh about 8lbs each with lock etc.
Will include the E36 rep lightweight mirrors as well.
They're currently painted Melbourne Red and matte black inside, could use some touch ups on inside paint if you care about that.
These ended up costing ~$2k landed plus weeks of customs pains and fighting with SFO customs.
Asking $1500 local in NorCal or meet at a track... I'll post more pics this w ..read more

Hello cultured folk of the E9x breed
I have been running stock oil cooler and stock radiator for a very long time and have had no heating issues on track. I recently shortened my gears and now have some heating issues when running a full 20 minute session towards the final few laps.
My question is, since I am mildly poor and on a tight budget, would you rather upgrade the oil cooler or the radiator to do88? Both is out of the question for me at the moment. I may wait until I can prioritize funds for both but I question if maybe just upgrading one would help in the mean time. Thanks ..read more

Probably overthinking this one, but I'm moving from a GTS style lip to a GT4 V2 front lip. I already have PFC big brake kit and do not need cooling on the front so I would not plan on running the cooling tubes.
Would there be any issues with running the lip not connected to the brake ducts or would be better to block them off internally and not let any air go into the car from the lip ..read more

My current plans for prep go as far as brake pads+fluid, tires, and fresh oil, but are there any other vulnerabilities I should address prior? It’s a ZCP equipped with EDC, sitting at 97k miles. Replaced RB’s ~3k miles ago. I have track experience with other platforms but I’d hate to have something avoidable go out ..read more

Hi All
Cross-post from another chassis forum since we don't seem to have a "universal" track category.
Figured I would share a side project that I've been tinkering with while my car gets some major surgery
tracktire.io
It tracks the stock availability of the typical tires that folks use for track days and/or racing from a variety of vendors. The prices and in-stock-ness are roughly realtime but might lag a few hours.
There is a feedback link on the tool itself but also open to feedback here
Hope it helps someone else ..read more

Does anyone here have experience with their front splitter - V1 or V2?
Looks great in the pictures on their site, and the price point is very attractive.
On a side note, does anyone have a direct contact? They don't list shipping to Canada on their site when you go to checkout, and I've sent in numerous contact requests with no response, and no other way to contact them listed on their site. Don't see them on IG, etc.
Otherwise, does anyone have any other good suggestions for companies or brands that sell a decent quality, good price, GT4 splitter (needs to have integrated brake ducts ..read more
