2008 base 5-speed Bought in Birmingham yesterday. Got Enkie 8.5s & 10s installed with 255/285 Stones. Put a heat-cycle on them this morning. First event is a local this Sunday, stock suspension otherwise, maybe I’ll get some work done on the alignment before the event. Hope
to be fully set up by Bristol.

Hello, I need some advice on what the best autocross tires are that will fit on the stock 20/21” wheels of my 2020 Carrera S? I just did my first autocross event this weekend and was classed in SS. The car is totally stock and I plan to keep it that way but I’m wondering if there’s anything out there that are better than the OEM Goodyear F1? It’s not a daily so I’m open to whatever but I’m not interested in buying another set of wheels. I don’t know why I didn’t try this a long time ago as it was a lot of fun and I think I’m hooked. Thanks in advance ..read more

I get differing opinions on whether I need to break in the new car with ~2K miles or just take it to the autocross as soon as I feel comfortable driving it. I've done AC with other cars but not with a new car.
I typically follow the manufacturer's guidance and break it in before driving it too hard.

2 newbie questions here. First, recommented tire pressure for 7 and 8" stock Fuchs with street tires. Second, is the 350mm Momo wheel I now have on the car too small? Should I use the standard 380mm wheel? Thanks in advance ..read more

Hi All,
I bought this RoW '83 944 5 years ago, haven't even put it on the road yet, I've been busy with work and other projects. She's road ready now and came from the factory as sunroof delete, no power options, ie crank windows etc.. It has all new brakes, rotors pads, new larger exhaust, ROH 16" wheels and a few other things I can't recall right now. It's a bit tight for me, I'm 6'2" and higher than stock weight , it also has racing seats which are way too small for me so those have to go. It's in really nice condx and I don't want to do anything silly to it, this will be my firs ..read more

Now that the C8 Z06 is officially classed in Super Street, I feel they should just open the flood gates and class the 992 GT3, GT4 RS and Spyder RS in SS for 2024. I'd even support the 991.1 and 991.2 GT3 RSs. I honestly don't see how they can continue to keep these out of Super Street for very much longer. I recently wrote a letter making the case for the 4RS and Spyder RS, but will likely receive a "Thank you for your letter" response. Has anyone else written a letter for classing these cars ..read more

Fire up WordPerfect! ;)

The SAC is seeking initial member feedback on the current shock/strut allowances within section 13.5 of the Street Category rules. The options below are being considered.
Option 1: Keeping 13.5 as is, but open up electronic shock controller allowances under 13.5.A.8 to apply to all Street classes (not just Super-Street).
Option 2: Completely eliminating section 13.5 to create a “Showroom Stock” shock/strut allowance. This would apply to new car classing starting 1/1/2025 in any Fastrack or official rules publishing.
Option 3: Making 13.5 more restrictive on ..read more
